Code Studio - A Free K-5 Computer Science Curriculum
Code.org has recently released a three course K-5 curriculum to introduce students to computer science/programming. This curriculum combines hands-on, active learning, "unplugged" activities with online, browser based, "plugged" activities designed to teach programming through games and puzzles. Not only is the curriculum free, but the one day training workshop is being offered for free around the state of Iowa. Come learn more about Code Studio and why you should give it a try in your classroom.

Now that you have the Clarity data, what does it tell you about your technology program? How do you us Clarity data to write S.M.A.R.T goals that make sense for your resources? We will attempt to define a process for this planning task during this session. Clarity is some of the most meaningful data we have ever been able to collect concerning technology and learning. The key is to use it to identify strengths and weaknesses in your district related to technology. The ultimate goal is to develop a plan that can be constantly measured against your Clarity data.
